Amcot Cooling Tower Corporation is located in Southern California and is a cooling tower manufacturer, distributor, and supplier of fiberglass and steel cooling towers.  We have been operating since 1986 and are active members in good standing with the Cooling Technology Institute (CTI). 

Beyond our own products, Amcot is the exclusive agent for fiberglass cooling towers made by Liang Chi Industries, the leading cooling tower manufacturer in Asia.  We represent Liang Chi in North, Central, and South American markets, supplying cooling towers and parts for more than 30 years.

Fiberglass (FRP) Cooling Towers

Steel Cooling Towers

Amcot offers cooling towers which are predominately built from Fiberglass (FRP).  FRP is a strong, durable, material that has great anti-corrosive and chemical resistance properties which make it suitable for harsh environments where most cooling towers are situated.  Units are light in weight, easy to service, and provide reliable cooling capacities across many applications.

ST Series - The Amcot ST Series line of towers are a bottle shaped open loop design with a counter flow induced draft configuration.  Units are single cell construction utilizing FRP, PVC, and hot dipped galvanized steel (HDGS) or Stainless Steel as its primary materials of construction. 

Amcot stocks a large range of these towers at all times making them readily available for faster shipping than most leading brands.  Units will either ship assembled and ready for installation or are shipped knocked down, depending on the model, which are easily assembled on site.

Unit sizes start at 3 nominal tons with the largest model exceeding 825 nominal tons of cooling capacity. 

R-LC Series - The R-LC Series design is a CTI 201 Certified cross flow open loop type of FRP Cooling Tower which is available in both single or multi-cell configurations.  

These units are custom built to order with single cell capacity range from 30 to just over 700 tons of nominal cooling capacity.  The modular design of the R-LC allows this unit to be designed to meet any project size. 

D-LC Series - The D-LC Series cooling towers are an FRP constructed open loop counter flow design which are available in both single or mult-cell configurations.  The D-LC Series footprints are square in profile like traditional counter flow towers.  D-LC Series towers are CTI 201 Certified under Liang Chi Industries, Amcot's international industrial group located in Taiwan.  

D-LC Series capacities for single cell models range from 43 to 641 nominal tons.  

While Amcot has become known for their FRP Cooling Tower Systems, we also understand that some customers prefer the traditional steel tower type of construction.  As a result, Amcot introduced their first line of steel cooling towers in 2018 which received great interest from a wide range of engineers and mechanical contractors throughout the USA. 

Steel constructed cooling towers typically are designed using a combination of G235 galvanized sheet metal with hot dipped galvanized steel (HDGS) (post fabrication) and/or stainless steel depending on project specifications or customer preferences. Stainless steel units are available in 304 or 316 grades which are widely accepted as the standard within our industry.   ​

AST Series (Amcot Steel Tower)

The AST Series, Amcot's steel cooling tower line, is a CTI 201 Certified, open loop, counter flow, induced draft system.  The tower is constructed in G235 & HDGS steel, stainless steel 304 or 316, or a hybrid combination of both galvanized and stainless steel.  

Units are currently CTI 201 certified in single, two, and three cell configurations. Capacities of the AST Series units start at 90 tons with a maximum single cell nominal capacity of 286 tons.  

Not only is the AST Series engineered, designed, fabricated, and assembled in the USA, all of the materials and components are also made in the USA.  The AST series offers an extensive warranty and thermal performance guarantee so you can rest assured that every AST Series will be built to the highest level of quality and perform as expected at all times.

Cooling Towers Made Simple.

This is a concept that reflects an old saying, "Keep it simple stupid."  Often manufacturers overthink their products and in an attempt to make products better, they wind up making them more complex.  These complex designs equate to higher equipment costs as their products now contain more components than what is necessary.  This also means that you have more components to be mindful of when it comes to maintaining your cooling tower once it is installed.  

By keeping our towers simple, we ensure our product costs are minimal to help meet your project budgets.  Our units are also very easy to service so the time spent doing preventative maintenance or repairs when the time comes will be equally minimal and a fraction of the cost you will see from other major manufacturers.
